Create your account
There is no password in MoneyLoop. You sign in with your Google, Apple or Facebook account, so there is nothing to forget and nothing to lose.
The first screen
Section titled “The first screen”The first screen has a Start now button, with Already have an account underneath it if you’re coming back.
If you’d rather use the other language, the switch is on that same screen. The app restarts once to set the text direction.
What it asks you
Section titled “What it asks you”- Your name. Any name you like — it doesn’t have to be your real one. It’s only what the app calls you.
- How you track your money today. Your answer changes the examples you see in the next steps.
- What bothers you about it. Same again — it tailors the rest of the walkthrough to you.
- Then you get a quick tour of the ways to record a transaction: your voice, your bank’s messages, or a budget that keeps itself up to date.
All of this comes before you sign in, so you can look around first.
Signing in
Section titled “Signing in”At the end of the tour you’re offered:
- Continue with Google
- Continue with Apple
- Continue with Facebook
Pick one and finish with that account. Signing up means you agree to the MoneyLoop Terms & Conditions, linked on the same screen.
After you’re in
Section titled “After you’re in”The last step sums up what the app will do for you, with an Enter my account button — and that takes you to your home screen for the first time.
- The app asks for notification permission. Without it you won’t get due-date or budget alerts; you can turn them on later in Settings.
- You can change your name or your language any time from Settings.
Common problems
Section titled “Common problems”I signed in and the app is empty — that’s usually a new account created by a different sign-in method. Sign out and come back with the one you used first.
The app closed and reopened by itself — that happens once when you change the language, to set the text direction.
