Instant transfer fees
Instant transfers carry a fee, and the bank’s message sometimes gives the amount without it. Your balance then falls further than what’s recorded, leaving a small gap every time.
The app can add the fee for you on the account that gets charged.
Turning it on
Section titled “Turning it on”- Open the account and tap edit.
- Scroll to Add InstaPay fees and turn it on.
- Save.
From then on, every instant transfer sent from that account has its fee worked out and added to the amount.
On the transaction
Section titled “On the transaction”Open a transaction with a fee and InstaPay fees is its own field. You can adjust it, or clear it when your bank didn’t charge you this time — and the amount follows.
- Only turn it on for accounts that really are charged.
- If the figure differs from what your bank took, correct it on the transaction and the total follows.
