Free and Premium

Limited on the free plan

MoneyLoop works without a subscription. The free plan caps how much and how far back; Premium removes the caps.

  • Record transactions by typing, by voice, or from your bank’s messages.
  • All your accounts and balances, with no limit on how many.
  • Debts owed to you and by you, and splitting a bill with friends.
  • Recurring payments and budgets — up to a limit.
  • Your home screen and your spending breakdown by category.

There’s a daily cap on new transactions, a limited history window, and a limit on budgets. The current numbers are shown on the subscription screen inside the app.

  1. Open Settings and tap My current subscription.
  2. Choose monthly or yearly. Yearly costs less over a year.
  3. Complete the payment — your account opens up right away.

The same screen has Restore purchases, for when you change phones or reinstall the app.

If you have a code, there’s a place for it on the subscription screen before you pay. Enter it and you’ll see the new price before you confirm.

New accounts start with a Premium trial, and Settings shows a Trial Period tag while it runs. When it ends you go back to the free plan — nothing is deleted, your older transactions are just blurred until you subscribe.

I paid and the app still says free — tap Restore purchases on the subscription screen. If it still does, close the app and open it again.

My older transactions are blurred — that’s the free plan’s history window, not a deletion. They come back with Premium.

I can’t add another transaction today — you’ve hit the daily cap. Wait until tomorrow, or subscribe.
